Families & Consumer Sciences

Family & Consumer Sciences provides information and programming in the areas of food, nutrition, and health; financial & resource management; parenting; safety; and other life skills.

Family and Community Educators (FCE) Clubs, formerly known as "Extension Homemakers," meet monthly and have interesting programs and fun activities. The mission of FCE is "to strengthen individuals, families and communities through education, leadership and action." To find out when and where a club meets near you, please call the office.

The Family Nutrition Program (FNP) is now available for persons who are Food Stamp eligible. If you know a family or group who is interested in nutrition education, call the Extension Office and ask for Kendra Hughson..
