Artisanal Cheese Making & Greek Yogurt Workshop

Registration is now open for anyone interested in learning more about making cheese and Greek yogurt at home.  Nutrition, Food safety and recommended sanitation methods, will be discussed.  Making cheese and yogurt is a great way to use local ingredients, save money, and be creative in the kitchen.

Participants will learn to make and store homemade mozzarella, ricotta, cherve/fromage blanc and Greek yogurt.

The Artisanal Cheese Making & Greek Yogurt Workshop will be held on  Thursday, June 1st from 5:30-8:00 pm at the UF/IFAS Walton County Extension office located at 732 N 9th Street, DeFuniak Springs.

There is a charge of $25.00 to cover the material and supplies, plus you will receive supplies to make cheese on your own at home!
